NPC plans to list two more facilities on Tehran Stock Exchange
In line with the policy of privatizing its existing complexes, NPC is considering listing two more of its production complexes on the Tehran Stock Exchange by March 2001. Shiraz and Tabriz Petrochemical Complexes are the facilities that NPC is planning to float them on the Tehran Stock Exchange.
NPC listed Arak, Kharg and Esfahan Petrochemical Complexes on Tehran Stock Exchange in late 1999 and early 2000.
NPC's privatization program traces back to early 90s. At the outset of the program, NPC sold the ownership of three of its facilities, Abadan Petrochemical Complex, Farabi Petrochemical Complex and Iran Carbon Company and is no longer involved in operation or management of these companies.
