PCC signed several sales agreement with Chinese companies


Petrochemical Commercial Company, PCC, which is the NPC's commercial arm, signed several contracts with the Chinese companies to export a wide range of NPC's products to the Chinese market. The contracts, effective from July 2000, worth $150m and are valid for a year. According to the contracts, PCC will export 1,130,000 tons of methanol, MEG, PVC, EDC, PS, MEA, DEA, TEA, PBR, SBR, butanols, sulfur and LPG to China.

The contracts were signed on the sidelines of a recent visit to China by M. Ehtiati, PCC Chairman and Managing Director. Ehtiati was accompanying a top-ranking Iranian delegation to China and Hong Kong that was headed by President Khatami.
