NPC awarded the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract for its sulfur coated urea plant at the Khorasan Petrochemical Complex (KHPC) to a consortium of Uhde India Ltd., and Sazeh Consultants of Iran.

NPC President, Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh says Iran will become one of the world's 10-top producers of ammonia/urea by 2010.
