Tehran plays host to the seventh Iran Petrochemical Forum (IPF 2005) on 7-8 May 2005. The event is expected to draw a large number of local and foreign participants. Organized by the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) in collaboration with IICIC, IPF 2005 is officially inaugurated by the Iranian petroleum minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh. A number of other senior Iranian government officials will also address the gathering including Iran's Vice-President who also heads the nation's Management & Planning Organization, and Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh deputy petroleum minister and NPC president.
