Iran's fourth international plastic and rubber exhibition, Iran Plast 2004, will be held in December 13-17 in Tehran. The event is expected to draw hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors. Some 342 local and 220 foreign exhibitors from 21 nations have registered to display their products and services. Taking up over 24,000m2 of the Tehran International Permanent Fairground, exhibitors at Iran Plast 2004 will showcase their latest achievements and capabilities in areas such as raw materials, machinery and equipment, semi-finished & finished products, engineering and technical services. The exhibition is organized by NPC and Iran International Exhibitions Company (IIEC). The event's foreign sponsors include Italian Plastics and Rubber Processing Machinery and Moulds manufacturers (Assocomaplast), Korea Plastic Processing Machinery Industry Cooperative (KPPMIC), Turkish Plastics Industry Association (PAGEV) and Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Gesell & Co. Messemarketing International, Interfairs Co. Ltd. of Korea, Fairs Communications Int'l Co. Ltd. of Taiwan. Representatives from 21 countries met in Iran Plast 2003 to exhibit their products and technologies for the plastic and rubber industry where 170 foreign companies plus 290 local companies were present at the show. NPC considers the event as a platform for the interaction of major players in the plastic, rubber and other petrochemicals related industries. The event is believed to promote the exhibitors' business relations in the growing Iranian market.
