During the Iranian calendar year ending on March 20, 2000, the NPC's total export reached $578 million or 2.9 million metric tons. This compares with an export of $447 million or 3.6 million metric tons in the previous year. The NPC's major export markets are Far East, Europe, China, Southeast Asia and India. The exports fall into five main material groups, namely; gas liquids, aromatics, polymers, chemicals and fertilizers. The NPC's export has been growing steadily during past years. In the past 10 years (1990-99) the annual growth of its export value stood at 32%. NPC's sales are exclusively handled by its subsidiary, Petrochemical Commercial Company (PCC), and its offices in London, Hamburg, Beijing (China), Singapore, Dubai (UAE), Bombay (India).
