Supreme Leader visits ARPC's pavilion

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei paid a visit to Arak Petrochemical Company's (ARPC) pavilion during his tour of the province's international exhibitions site held in the city of Arak where the local industries had put their products on display. ARPC's Chairman, H. Beigi, briefed the leader on the current status of the complex's production, its products slate as well as its capabilities and future projects and plans. The Leader's visit to the province took place in the context of his periodic tour of the country's provinces.

NPC holds its 3rd European seminar in Milan, Italy

In collaboration with the Italian association for chemical industries, Federchimica, NPC will hold a seminar on February 8, 2001 in Milan, Italy. Entitled "Iran Petrochemical Industry; Potentials and Prospects", the seminar will explore opportunities that are available for investing in Iran's petrochemical industry. Attended by government officials from both Iran and Italy and top executives from leading petrochemical and engineering companies as well as financial institutions and banks, the event will also seek to shed light on economic developments in Iran, legal framework and structural incentives for investment in Iranian petrochemicals sector. NPC's development plans and engineering capabilities of Iranian companies and technical cooperation will be also discussed at the event. This is the third seminar that NPC holds in Europe with the first in London in 1997, the second in Hamburg, Germany in 1999.
