NPC and Snamprogetti to study the construction of PDH & PP complexes

NPC and Italy's Snamprogetti will conduct a joint feasibility study for the construction of joint venture PDH and PP complexes. The PDH complex will produce propylene based on Snamprogetti's Fluidized Bed Propane Dehyrogenation technology. Output from the 390,000-t/y PDH complex will provide feed for a 300,000-t/y polypropylene (PP) facility. The complexes will be located at either Bandar Imam Khomeini or Assaluyeh. The feasibility study for the construction of the complexes is expected to be completed within 3.5 months. NPC and Snamprogetti have signed an MOM in this regard.
