Three separate groups of NPC staff attended on the job training courses in Japan, South Korea and Brazil. The courses were organized by Mitsui Towatso and Sunkyong Ltd. respectively. The one-month course in Japan focused on maintenance and defects prevention of rotating and stationary equipment and machinery. The twenty-five day course in South Korea was related to commissioning & operation of paraxylene plants. The training course in Brazil dealt with proper handling and operation of machinery and equipment, upkeep, maintenance and commissioning of an ethanolamin plant. The course was conducted at Oxiteno complex. Arak Petrochemical Complex, an NPC subsidiary, is going to commission its ethanolamin plant in the near future.
