  Financial Objectives:

-  Reduce the service’s cost by at least 15% by year 2008 via:

·        Reducing reworks

·        Increase in productivity

·        Reducing the waiting time

·        Decreasing allocated manpower

Strategic Objectives:

-  Solidify the IT department’s preferable position in the NPC for providing information technology

-    Establishing leadership in providing information technology for local petrochemical industry

-    Extending the market towards neighboring and Middle East countries

-    Establishment of NPC portal as one of the e-government portals
