Inorder to achieve the goals of the strategic plan for Petrochemical Industries Development which will guarantee valuable effects such as revenue added values of the oil products, employment, and facilitate transfer from single- product economy based on oil export to a more industrial productive economy; and also to assist long- term development of a National Economy; numerous projects have been complied and executive preliminaries took place gradually. To enforce non- centralized policies, profit from public participation, and to flourish public joint- stock companies in accepting parts of strategic projects, the National Projects to the mentioned companies, using valid international licences and joining domestic and foreign investments. In this connection, using non- centralized management, and assuring necessary coordinations in execution of the projects, the company nemed Petrochemical Industries Development Management was established in January 1995, the goals and objectives of which are as follows: Management, Coordination, Supervision and control of Petrochemical projects from the beginning upto the exploitation process. Policy making regarding execution methods for the projects. Compilation of standards and supervision on their use. Standard making for execution methods and project management softwares. Archive provision on the experience of executed projects. Establishment of companies for project management. Supreme supervision on the companies' operations.
